MAC recently introduced the Patentpolish Lip Pencil. There are a lot of chunky lip pencils which have been introduced by a lot of brands. Everywhere you turn, these have a presence.
MAC Patentpolish Lip Pencil is a limited edition and comes in 12 colors.
The packaging is fairly basic. It comes in a large, stubby twist up pencil. Twists up pencils are always better as there is no wastage of the product.
I bought the lip pencil in the shade ‘Sultana’. I tried it and I completely fell in love with the shade, though it’s not my usual reds and pinks. The color is like deep berry shade. This color is not something that I would bend towards. It’s a color that will suit all the skin tones. On more light to medium skin tones it will look like a deep berry color and on the darker skin tones it will look really nice and classy.

The formula is just amazing. It’s really hydrating and moisturizing. It can be used as a lip gloss, lip balm and also like a lipstick.
The staying power is not all that great. You have to reapply after every 2-3 hrs. This is the only thing I did not like in the lip pencil. I would have loved it if the staying power was a little longer.
This is a product I will buy and will suggest to my friends and family because of the formula.
